CLERA Researcher of the Month: Brian Gaynor

CLERA has a broad range of researchers and research candidates working in many different areas of language education. Each month, we feature one of our researchers to learn more about them, their work and their interests.

Brian GaynorOur Researcher of the Month for April is postgraduate researcher Brian Gaynor, Associate Professor of English at Muroran Institute of Technology in northern Japan. He has worked in Japan for 14 years as a teacher of L2 English and has taught at all levels of formal education from primary to university level. His PhD research focuses on the policy planning and classroom implementation of the new course of study for English in Japanese elementary schools.
