CLERA has a broad range of researchers and research candidates working in many different areas of language education. Each month, we feature one of our researchers to learn more about them, their work and their interests.
Our Researcher of the Month for October is Dr Claudia Gremler, Senior Lecturer in German. Claudia holds a PhD in German and Scandinavian Studies from the University of Göttingen. Her main area of research is literary studies, specifically intertextuality in Thomas Mann’s works and the cultural relations between Germany and Scandinavia. More recently, Claudia has developed an additional research focus on cinema studies and intermediality which informs her current work on the use of video in language teaching and pedagogy.
